This color is a shimmering violet on a sheet of clear Effetre glass. The photo shows the two color aspect of dichroic (dichroic means two colors) with the transmitted color being yellow and the reflected color (under the black paper) being violet.
Working with dichroic on clear gives you the ability to apply dichroic to your bead and have the clear glass it is on become the encasement, thus protecting the dichroic crystals. The dichroic crystals should be applied facing the bead surface and away from the direct flame. |
