This color is a luminous, translucent, medium turquoise-blue, which has a more bluish tonality and a much softer appearance than its opaque counterparts. It is wise to put a core of clear glass in any bead you make using alabaster or opalino colors if you are planning on encasing your bead in clear. This reduces possible stress in the bead.
