To purchase some rare glass in the store-you will have to have Artist Points that you can only earn by placing web orders…you will see the price of the items expressed as points only…we do not accept money in this store!

When you have chosen something that you would like to pay with your points, just jot that down in the “comments” section of your web order and we will do the rest! Here is an example: “Please send me 1/4lb Vetrofond Parrot and deduct 600 Points from my Artist Points account”, that's all there is to it. (BTW 600 points = $6.00)

One last thing-the quantities of each color are limited. After all, this is, for the most part, old or out-of-stock glass. We may run out. So…first come-first serve, no backorders are available.

Razzleberry has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-5mm in diameter and approx. 12” in length.

This glass has some remarkable characteristics. Hold up the rod and look through it into the sunlight and you will see a blue(berry) rod, when not lit by the sun, it’s a raspberry color. So very unusual. The Factory (oops?) made a “mistake” we are told. We think this color is a true “Blue Blood” of Glass Aristocracy.

This is a variance of a new color from Effetre (Summer 2009) AND it's quite fabulous. It strikes a rosy coppery luster when heated sufficiently. It can be a challenge, but this glass has some remarkable qualities that just require “a little teasing” !!

Effetre Light Marmorin, 591281-RS. Has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13" in length.

Technically a Tide pool is a rocky pool by oceans that are filled with seawater. Hmmmm. Well, they are also filled with strange and wondrous flora and fauna. As John Steinbeck wrote his Log from the Sea of Cortez : “It is advisable to look from the tide pool to the stars and then back to the tide pool again” that's nice isn't it? As you can see from Effetre's Tidepool, there are magical creatures locked in a ocean teal-green glass pool. Use this glass over white as in the photo and you will think you can see them swim!!

Sweet pale springtime green…or anytime green-you choose. Here is a color very sought after by the lampworking community-all that's currently available these days is the machine made rods, here is your chance to acquire one of the most beautiful colors in glass. One day they will make it again my hand….maybe…but until then-this could be yours…got points?

We live near Seattle, it rains a bit here and this color reminds us of the tranquility of falling rain drops on a sunny day (hey, that happens in the Northwest…and Hawaii) the raindrops reflect the sky and the landscape and can appear a turquoise-y green aqua with a touch of sunshine…we thought we had sold out completely this much requested color-but behold-it has reappeared – short supply, but just enough for the Points Store!

Chocolate - one of the most popular foods? Flavors? …worldwide-loved my millions. Now we have chocolate glass…not really edible, but it LOOKS like chocolate (next best thing) and we in the soft glass world have been hungering for a good dark brown color for years and here it is! Touched with hints of ruddy red, but mostly a distinctive chocolate brown-DARK chocolate that is!!

Here it is! The Queen of glass...the King of glass? What a color!-is it Ivory?...or is it something....magical?  Our customers think the latter. This glass is just waiting to have a reaction! maybe a chain-reaction, watch out!

Vetrofond River Rock 791931-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13" in length.

This stunning "Prehistoric" color has been off the market for some time (a long long time). We have recently found some during a "dig" in the back warehouse and thought...let's put it in the Points store for our wonderful customers...so this old and much asked for color could be yours...if you have points :)

Vetrofond Petrified Wood 791999-RS has a Coe of 104. The rods are 5-6mm and approx 12-13" in length.

Vetrofond Ocean Green 791927-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13” in length.

Is the Ocean green or blue? That's not easy to answer definitively, anyway. The same thing goes for this groovy old odd-lot. We received this glass 4-5 years ago-it takes many guises-a soft turquoise opaque, a sea green translucent and more. It all depends on how you use it! This is a glass that beadmakers have been know to hoard, that's how we know it's good!

Vetrofond Moon Rock 791811-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13" in length.

Here is an incredible odd lot form some years back that we thought we had sold out. But no...we just had to go to the moon and dig some more up for our Artist Points Store. It's a long trip and we probably can't get back so here's your chance to acquire some very hard to find color!

Amber Rose 591082A-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13” in length.

Another old favorite-only thing is, this is the second batch of this odd lot. Let me give you a bit of history. Many years ago 082 (blue lavender) showed up Pink! With a touch of Amber. It was lovely! Mike named it 082A….nice, mike! Only not too descriptive. An employee came up with Amber Rose which said it all and all the townsfolk were joyous….and then…the next batch arrived…not so much Amber this time, but still a lovely rosy glow pink. So just know that this is Amber Rose…according to the label from the factory is 082…but it's just not quite Amber Rose as we knew her as a girl-she grew up and shed some of the Amber. OH well, Amber is just sticky fossilized tree sap-we were left with the rose! The townsfolk are still joyous!

Effetre Coral PUMPKIN 591420P-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-5mm and approx 12-13" in length.

Here is another coral that occurred when coral first starting changing hues, well, it's probably not the first time in history-only recent history-but this version is a soft pale orange with a rough texture to the rod. This color has not been available for years. It doesn't have the same pinkish/rosy tones that show up in the tequila sunrise batch or others...it's nice and stable (for the most part...it IS coral, after all!) 

Vetrofond Translucent Ivory 791964-RS has a COE of 104.  The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13" in length.

Here is an oldie...one of the original odd lots from the company of odds. This color looks like spun sugar that's slightly melted spreading it's warm glow over any worthy project you can imagine. This color is in constant demand-it's sold on Ebay...on Forums...but it's not easily obtainable. Points anyone? It can be yours.

Vetrofond Classic Marble 791940-RS. Has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13" in length.

This is an old favorite of lampworkers. One of the first odds from Vetrofond. The rods are a super pale white? tinged with pink...when struck this glass creates a subtle marbled effect. We get asked for this glass all the time, we thought it was a goner. But behold what a little warehouse cleaning can produce. We gladly welcome back our old friend.

Vetrofond Smokey Aqua (aka Bong Water) 791938-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13" in length.

A pale aqua with wisps of tobacco brown streaking through the transparent glass. A very unique color. A few years ago when this color had it's debut...some folks thought it funny and called it Bong Water..., I've never seen Bong Water, but I'll take their word for it.  Some of our customers may remember this glass by that name :)

Vetrofond Key Lime 791976-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13" in length.

Key Limes are very distinctive...in flavor and COLOR...and what we have here is pure Key Lime color! It flew in some time ago with it's relative Parrot. A favorite color of our customers that we had run out of...we thought...but along with Parrot ...and Parrot/Lime..."Birds of a feather" have flocked together to enjoy the last remnants of this flavorful color!

Vetrofond Yellow Jacket 791812-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 3-4mm in diameter and approx 12-13" in length

Here's the BUZZZZZ....This is one of the best colors we've ever seen...and that's saying a lot, as you might imagine. This is an opaque rich yellow skin over a core of dark black. But we all know there is no "black", just super dark blue or purple...intrigued? Take a look at the paddle to see just a small sample of what this color can do! 

Vetrofond Rocky Rubino 791456-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-5mm in diameter and approx 12-13” in length.

This Rubino is FAB…but it has a few rocks in it, nothing that a good pair of nippers can't deal with! And what a price…This glass strikes a beautiful deep dark pink that you can use sparingly…or at this price, heck, make a bead out of it!

Effetre Translucent Yellow 591409-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-7mm in diameter and approx 12-13” in length.

For all of you with super good memories-here is a long lost friend. We remember this glass back in 2001! It was one of the surprising colors that actually had a sparkle to it! Much sought after for it's pleasing results. We were surprised to find some of this old sold-out glass, pleasantly surprised!

Double Helix Aether 503135-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-5mm in diameter and are approx. 12" in length.

What's there to say about this glass? Only that it's the best clear EVER!!

CiM Tabby 511427-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13” in length

Here is a color that will make you Purrrrrrr, a soft silver gray with unusual highlights in it's “fur”. This color was a one-time production and we luckily had a few pounds left. This Tabby has returned for our Points Store customers only.

Vetrofond Painted Desert 791997-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 4-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13” in length

The Painted Desert, it took millions of years for nature to create a canvas of colorful sediments, stacked in elegant layers that glow in the setting sun in an ever-changing display of color splendor-how's that for a description? This glass definitely has the look of the natural wonder in the desert southwest. Our customers have been asking for this old favorite and here it is…but only for points customers!

Effetre Gold Aventurine Filigrana 8-9mm 592916-08 has a COE of 104, the rods are approx. 8-9mm in diameter and 12-13” in length.

WOWZA what a beauty! Give your projects the Midas touch! The price is reflective of the cost of gold back in….let's say….1973? That was when gold was $30 an ounce…gasp…gold is a little higher than that now!

Messy Tamarind 511773-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12” in length.

We understand that the Ring Tailed Lemurs of Madagascar eat the fruits and leaves of the Tamarind Tree and it's up to 50% of their diet…. Move Over Lemurs! We love it too! Another one-time color from CiM-a nutty coppery brown that will have you swinging from vines of happiness! We're not kidding-just ask the lemurs!

Vetrofond Smoke Rings 791806-RS Has a Coe of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx. 12-13" in length.

On top of ol' smoky? smoke get's in your eyes? We don't know which expression is best to describe this glass....this color is Smokin' !! Here is an old odd color from the factory of odd lots. A clear transparent glass wtih streaks of smoky white. FABulous!

CiM Messy Color Chai 511765-RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12” in length.

Chai, the color of a steaming cup of spiced tea perhaps? Or a one-time color produced by a company known for it's product integrity? In this case, it's the latter-what a beautiful neutral color that can come in handy when nothing else will suffice. This color will be missed when it totally sells out….try some now while you have a chance.

Vetrofond Cosmic Storm, 791801 -RS has a COE of 104. The rods are 5-6mm in diameter and approx 12-13” in length.

Astronomers refer to a Cosmic Storm when great swarms of galaxies smash into one another to form a single galactic structure. That sounds like they are describing this glass…did Vetrofond put this glass into a particle collider? We don't' know for sure, but what we do know is that it's the “perfect storm” for bead-making!
